Week 4

• Form and finalise group members. • Individually think about interesting macro topics, see the course reading lists for ideas and consider all topics in the unit (check course outline). • Check past presentations (available on Moodle) to have a better idea of what we are aiming for with this assessment. • Check other presentation resources on Moodle. • Consider meeting with current group members to discuss topics further. • Sign the Team Contract. Week 5

• Discuss ideas deeper and consider its feasibility. Narrow down your options to a single choice, plan and allocate tasks. • Discuss group roles. Everyone must participate in each stage of the project but there must be an individual responsible for each part (such as data collection, the proposal, filming, editing etc.). • Download data. Analyse and use macroeconomic models to explain the data. Prepare a draft of your proposal. Week 6

• Flexibility Week. Meetings and catching-up are optional. Week 7

• Submit your proposal (attach cover sheet and team contract). Week 8

• Analyse feedback, discuss and prepare presentation slides. Week 9

• Final editing and details. Week 10

• Submission (due date: Friday (21/10/2025) at

5pm). At any time, feel free to visit me during consultation hours or by appointment to discuss

your topic and/or ask questions.
