ATS1056 Assessment 3 Guidance This comprises additional guidance for Assessment 3.

Some points reiterate or

further expand upon aspects of the assignment instructions.

1. Reminder: The rubric requires that students cannot select a topic close to, or

overlapping with their Assessment 2 topic. If in any doubt, please consult your

tutor.

2. Zoom is recommended as the recording software as you can share the

Powerpoint on-screen. The presenter must be viewable in the video. If your desktop

or laptop does not have a camera, you can record on a Library computer. 3. You must upload two files: (i) the video file; (ii) the Powerpoint presentation. The total size of the two files cannot exceed 500MB, as this is Moodle’s limit.

- Give yourself adequate time to upload the files prior to the deadline. - It is your responsibility to ensure the files are not corrupted, are readable and

audible. 4. Students should aim for the 15 minutes maximum and must not exceed this.

- Stats, graphics or references/citations are not included in the word count.

- In-text citations must be included in the Powerpoint text.

- A bibliography must be included at the end of the Powerpoint. 5. The text limit in the Powerpoint is 1,000 words +/- 10%. Some students have

asked, “How many words can you speak?” The answer is that the spoken content is

up to you.
