The organisa on you analysed in Assessment 2 has employed you as a manager to assist with designing
and implemen ng a RAP. Before you commence this role, you take some me to reflect on your analysis in
the report and how this relates to your styles of management and leadership and working in teams.
Assessment type: reflec ve presenta on
Instructions
In order to complete the reflec on, you will create a 5 minute video presenta on. The presenta on should describe
and cri cally reflect on the following topics and consider these in rela on to the SWOT you presented in your poster:
what sort of management and leadership styles and approaches would be useful in implemen ng your
reconcilia on ideas in this organisa on, and why
your approaches to teamwork in implemen ng the reconcilia on ideas. You may draw on your experiences and
learnings from the teamwork task of Assessment 2.
The ‘why’ is the important part of the reflec on. This will help you conclude with the next steps you need to take.
Recommended 4 to 6 slides (not including tle and reference slides), and you should include a reference list to outline
the sources of theory used in the cri cal reflec on.

To ensure a clear and effec ve presenta on, it is important to maintain the visibility of your face throughout the video
and strive to maintain eye contact with the camera. This is essen al as you are presen ng to an imaginary target
audience, and reading directly from the script without maintaining eye contact will result in a less favourable grade. It
is also important to speak at an appropriate pace and volume, simplify your word choice and sentence structure, and
use signpos ng and repe on to enhance clarity. Addi onally, applying the principle of simplicity by using simple and
concise language, avoiding jargon, and explaining any acronyms or abbrevia ons can significantly improve the clarity of
your presenta on. Finally, it is recommended to prac ce and get feedback to iden fy strengths and weaknesses and
make any necessary adjustments or improvements to ensure maximum clarity in your presenta on.
The maximum length of the video is 5 minutes with 10% allowances (i.e. 5 minutes 30 seconds), and the marker will
stop watching and marking a er this me has been reached.
To ensure that your video pitch stays within the 5-minute me limit, it is recommended to use 4 to 6 PowerPoint
slides (excluding tle and reference slides). While you may exceed 6 slides, it's important to be mindful of the me
limit, as the marker will not provide grading for video contents that exceed the 5-minute 30 seconds limit. It's crucial
to focus on the quality and relevance of the content, ensuring that each slide contains meaningful and insigh ul
informa on. Addi onally, it's advisable to keep the slides simple and focused on visuals instead of text, as this
approach is more effec ve in conveying your message within the given me frame.
