For each sentence below, (1) identify at least two of these presuppositions, (2) identify or describe what triggers each presupposition, and (3) perform the “Hey, wait a minute” test, along with one projection test, describe the results of these two tests, and say how they show that the inferences you identified are presup- positions. (1) Luckily, your uncle forgot that we owe him $300. (2) The coffee machine I got at Value Village still makes great espresso, even though it’s a bit old. (3) For the last time, it’s just the door at the end of the hall that will trigger the emergency alarm.
