FINAL EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT

About Inspera Invigilated Exam

This course has an invigilated exam held on campus. The exam will be conducted on Inspera. A

requirement for this exam is that you come to your exam with a fully charged laptop with Safe Exam

Browser installed. For information about On-Campus Invigilated Exams requirements and conditions

EXAM DURATION AND FORMAT

9:45am-12:00pm on 9 May (2 hours + 15 minutes)

PART I Multiple Choice Questions (37 marks)

19 MCQs; Please note that MCQs can come from any part of the course.

PART II Short Answer Questions (18 marks)

Two questions which will be randomly chosen for you from the following topics

i. Balance sheet and income statement (9 marks)

ii. Investments (9 marks)

iii. Income tax and overseas exposure (9 marks)

iv. Employee compensation (9 marks)

On the Final exam day:

You will access your final exam by logging directly into Inspera here and locating your final exam

under the 'My Test' tab.

Exam-Day Support: During your final exam, support will be provided by the UNSW Exams Centre

only. Do not contact your course lecturer or school during your exam.

• You must bring your student card and your own laptop to the final exam.

• You may bring to the examination: Calculator - UNSW Approved. Don’t forget to get your

calculators approved before the exam. Students will not be permitted to use a calculator that

does not have a (tamper-proof) ‘UNSW Approved’ label. Labels are available from The

Nucleus: Student Hub. You can find a list of UNSW-approved calculators at:

https://www.student.unsw.edu.au/exam/calculators.

• Please manage your time - don’t spend too long on one question.

Other Course Administrative Issues:

• No double PASS: You only need to PASS the course and do not have to pass this exam.

• Past final exam questions as well as guideline answers have been posted on Moodle for your

revision.

• Please check your total assessment marks on Moodle. If you have any queries, please send an

email to [email protected] before 8 May so we can finalise your marks.
