Weighting: 30%

Due date: 23:59, 15 October (Sunday of Week 12)

 1. Course Learning Outcomes Assessed

This assessment supports the following learning outcomes: CLO1, CLO2, CLO3, CLO4, CLO5

2. Overview of Assessment

This assessment is created to simulate some aspects of on-demand interviews (one-way interviews), which are broadly used in industry nowadays as the first step in the interview process. In on-demand interviews, a candidate receives a link inviting them to answer a set of questions when it is convenient for them, but there is a deadline to submit responses and there is a time limit for analysis and answering the question. Depending on the company, the answers might be expected as video, audio-only, or text, where the video option is the most common.

3. Assessment Tasks

You need to analyse the following scenario: SEPM_A2-2023S2.pdf (https://rmit.instructure.com/courses/107137/files/34280392? wrap=1) (https://rmit.instructure.com/courses/107137/files/34280392/download?download_frd=1) . Based on your analysis, you will need to create Scrum artefacts and short videos to present your solution. The scenario contains

1. a product backlog - you will need to analyse the product backlog for correctness.

2. a scenario describing team performance over two sprints - you will need to create a classical burndown chart on it's basis; 3. a scenario describing how the team approaches quality assurance tasks - you will need to analyse it for correctness and

completeness of sprint tasks and acceptance criteria (with respect to the provided Definition of Done), as well as how exactly the mistakes should be fixed.

You will need to submit:

video (up to 5 minutes long), where you present and justify your classical burndown chart, video (up to 5 minutes long) with your analysis of the sprint tasks and acceptance criteria, video (up to 5 minutes long) with your analysis of the product backlog.

4. Submission Instructions & Feedback

The deliverables should be submitted via this Canvas Assignment.

Note: Only files submitted in Canvas → Assignments in the required format will be considered for marking. Any files uploaded to external resources (e.g., Google Drive, team’s co-work space in Canvas, etc.) or links to Trello, github, etc. cannot be considered for marking.

You may re-submit multiple times, however, only your latest submission will be marked. Be careful, re-submissions after the due-date are subject to late penalties.

Silence Policy: A silence policy will take effect from 5:00pm of Friday, Week 12. This means no questions about this assessment will be answered till the submission deadline, whether they are asked in Ed Forum, by email, or in person. Marking: We aim to provide feedback and marks for on-time submissions within two weeks after the submission deadline. Late penalties: Unless special consideration has been granted: the late penalty is 10% of the total mark for the assessment per calendar day late (i.e. for this assignment, 3 marks per calendar day late).

No artefacts submitted or plagiarism check failed = no marks for the task (limited overlaps in the submissions is natural due to user story keywords etc.)

Assessment declaration: When you submit work electronically, you agree to the Assessment declaration (https://www.rmit.edu.au/students/student-essentials/assessment-and-exams/assessment/assessment-declaration) .

5. Assessment Criteria

Your submission will be assessed on the following criteria:
