This is your last task in the course. It is an individual assignment and it is mainly about the core concept of the last theme, i.e. Ecosystems in the case of Blockchain industry (which is an important and emerging industry/technology influencing entrepreneurial opportunities).
You are required to analyse an existing or proposed blockchain or distributed ledger technology application (e.g. supply chain tracking, health records, government registries) in the context of the entrepreneurial opportunity being solved and the problems that are faced. Then you are required to outline the elements of the ecosystem for that particular application of blockchain technology that you have chosen. Your answer will take the form of a briefing paper and will be no more than 1500 words (excluding references and appendix).

Assessment details
You are required to analyse an existing or proposed blockchain or distributed ledger technology application (e.g. supply chain tracking, health records, government registries) in the context of the entrepreneurial opportunity being solved and the problems that are faced. Then you are required to outline the elements of the ecosystem for that particular application of blockchain technology that you have chosen. Your answer will take the form of a briefing paper and will be no more than 1500 words (excluding references and appendix).
To properly execute the assignment task:
1. Choose an existing blockchain application (e.g. supply chain tracking, health records, government registries). Such application can be seen as the industry or sector of your focus in this assignment. You may use this link to choose a blockchain application.
2. Elaborate how such blockchain application (or industry) can provide entrepreneurial opportunity for potential entrepreneurs by identifying what problem it can solve.
3. Using BEEP framework, identify one agent per elements of the ecosystem for that particular application of blockchain. Briefly explain each agent.
4. You may use the above 3 points as your sub-headings in order to organise and structure your report.
5. Write up your report of a maximum of 1500 words (excluding references and appendix).
Submission instructions
The report will be e-submitted on Canvas to lecturer by the due date. Feedback and results will be provided through Canvas.
All late submissions will incur a penalty of 10% per day. Penalties are automatically generated by Canvas and will not be overturned. Please ensure you keep track of assessment deadlines and allow time for unforeseen circumstances, so submit early.
