You must start this exam at the time published in your Sussex Direct Timetable, as indicated below.  Once started you will have a set exam duration in which to complete it, if you have not completed it before the end of the duration the exam will close.

 

If you have extra time due to Reasonable Adjustments this is additional to the exam duration below and has been added to your assessment on Canvas.

Exam Start Time: 14:00 BST

Exam Duration: 2 hours

At the end of the exam duration, you have an additional 30minutes to submit your exam.

You must start your upload immediately after the exam duration, during the submission time or it may not upload in time.

 

You may submit your exam as many times as you wish until the exam closes.  *When submitting through Turnitin, any subsequent file uploads will replace the initial.

 

 

Candidates must attempt ALL FOUR questions

 

 

The suggested word count is indicated at the beginning of each question (excluding equations, graphs or references).

 

 

 

 

Candidates should upload their answer paper to the appropriate Turnitin link within Canvas as a single PDF or Word  file.

 

The answers (including equations) should be typed. You can type your answers directly on the exam paper. Graphs should be typed; however, clear pictures of hand drawn and pasted graphs will also be accepted.

 

Please make sure that your submission includes the following:

 

Your candidate number (Do not put your name on your paper)

The title of the module and the module code

You MAY NOT access online materials, including lecture notes during this examination.  You must complete this assessment on your own and in your own words. DO NOT discuss this assessment with others during the exam. By submitting this assessment you confirm that your assessment includes no instances of academic misconduct,for example plagiarism or collusion.  Any instance of academic misconduct will be thoroughly investigated in accordance with our academic misconduct regulations.

Guidance on what to do if a problem submitting:

 

If you have problems accessing your exam: email your school office immediately [email protected]

 

If you are unable to submit your exam due to a sudden and unforeseen situation, please follow the guidance on Exceptional Circumstances. Please be aware that technical issues are not accepted criteria for Exceptional Circumstances claims.

 

If you have IT problems submitting your exam, such as a problem with Canvas/connectivity: email [email protected] immediately during the exam, including a screenshot of the issue.  Please be aware that it may not be possible to take remedial action, but if this is a wider issue, the school will consider the matter accordingly.

 

 

There is no late submission for Exams.  This means that it will not be possible to submit your exam once the exam has closed and files submitted by email after the exam has finished will not be accepted.
