FINM7405 Final Exam Information Exam information Course code and title FINM7405 Financial Risk Management Semester Semester 1, 2022 Exam type Online, non-invigilated, open book, end-of-semester examination Exam technology Blackboard Test, File upload to Turnitin Exam date and time Friday 17th June, 4pm–6:10pm (Brisbane time). Your examination will begin at the time specified in your personal examination timetable. If you commence your examination after this time, the end for your examination does not change. For example, if your examination is scheduled for 4pm with an end time of 6:10pm, even if you commence at 5:30pm your end time is still 6:10pm. The total time for your examination from the scheduled starting time will be: 2 hours 10 minutes including 10 minutes planning time.. Weighting This assessment is weighted at 50% of your total mark for this course. Permitted materials This is an open book exam – all course materials are permitted. Required materials Ensure the following materials are available during the exam: Calculator; bilingual dictionary; phone/camera/scanner Instructions You will need to download the question paper included within the Blackboard Test. Once you have completed the exam, upload the completed exam answers file to the Turnitin submission link. There are FIVE short-answer and calculation questions in the exam, for a total of 50 marks. Show all necessary working/calculations so that partial marks can be allocated where warranted. ALL questions must be answered in handwriting. Please then take photos of or scan all your answers, package them in one ZIP or pdf file and upload the ZIP or pdf file to the Turnitin submission link. Only handwritten answers (NO typed answers) are accepted. When you take photos of or scan your answers, please ensure your answers are shown clearly in the photo/scanned copy. No remark will be accepted for a loss of marks due to unreadable/blurred answers. Before you upload your answers in one file, please ensure you have checked that you include ALL your answers. To ensure fairness, answers provided after the exam in whatever way (e.g. email to course coordinator) for whatever reason (e.g. carelessness, under pressure/nervousness in the exam) are unfortunately not acceptable. Please ensure you are not using any auto-translation tools with your browser. Late submission of exams If you submit your online exam after the end of your specified planning time, duration, and 15 minutes submission time (where applicable), the following penalties will be applied to the total mark available for the assessment: • Less than 5 minutes – 5% penalty • From 5 minutes to less than 15 minutes – 20% penalty • More than 15 minutes – 100% penalty These penalties will be applied to all online exams unless there is sufficient evidence of problems with the system and/or process that were beyond your control. Deferral of exam If you are unwell or experiencing exceptional circumstances, please do not attempt this exam as you will not be able to defer once you have started.
