CSCI251 Autumn-2021 final exam info The exam will be on Moodle In the Exam section • Exam declaration (mandatory) • Examination: – The actual exam, in pdf, downloadable from 1:30pm Tuesday 22/06/2021 (double confirmed from you SOLS). • Submission points (using turnitin): – Where you upload your pdf containing solutions. Exam timing information • When: 1:30pm Tuesday 22/06/2021 (double confirmed from you SOLS) • Length: 3 hours • Students will RA’s will have their deadlines modified in accordance with the RA detail. • The submission point will be open beyond 16:30. • At 16:30 (or whatever ending for RA), if you haven’t already, you should submit your exam. • Up to 10 minutes after the end of exam time will be considered on time. • Any later than that and while the submission might still be received you will need to justify late submission. • Technical problems should go through UOW Exam support. Exam process • The Exam declaration prior to the exam starting. – You will agree to the conditions therein to be able to take the exam. • It will be in pdf format. • You need to complete the exam and submit it in pdf format to a submission point in Moodle, near the download point. • The submission is to be a single pdf file, please don’t expect to submit a whole lot of code files. • Note that while this is an open book exam • you are not allowed to communicate with anyone during the exam except through the UOW Exam support described on Moodle. • We reserve the right to question you if it appears you have been getting help. • If we consider that you may have been getting help in the exam all involved will be investigated as per the academic misconduct procedures. What do you submit? • A single pdf file, and name your pdf file with your name and student number, as in John_001.pdf. • DO include your name and student number of each page of your answer paper. • It makes sense to prepare a word document or similar with the parts, question numbers, and your details on it already, prior to the exam starting. Please DO NOT: • Include copies of the question itself. • Submit handwritten material. • Paste large sections of semi-relevant material from websites in the hope that something in there somehow answers the question.
